From time to time we receive some questions about the VIPs. Therefore, we deposit some information here:

Who are the VIPs?

Our mission at JOYclub is to support people in shaping their sexuality in a positive and conscious way. We see our VIPs as pioneers on our side.

Through their special commitment, they help others to explore, strengthen and live out their own sexuality and to express and promote sexuality as a socially relevant topic.

They do this, for example, by helping to create a sex-positive safe space in our forums through constructive contributions, where everyone can ask their questions. Others moderate in groups and thus also make it possible to deal with marginal topics of sexuality, reach and inspire many people in JOYclub through their content in the stream, photo or video area or organize regular meetings that enable the networking of the community offline as well. Engagement and trailblazing can be multifaceted.

Therefore, there is no conclusive list of what constitutes special commitment.

Our VIPs are therefore those who are particularly committed to JOYclub and the community, share the values of the community guide and live sex positivity themselves.

How to become a VIP?

Intensive commitment rarely remains hidden. Accordingly, we regularly receive suggestions for the VIP award from the ranks of the community. In addition, the JOY team looks at who is particularly committed and dedicated in different areas.

The basic requirement for the VIP award is also the passed authenticity test as well as the lived acceptance of the terms of use and community values of the JOYclub. However, a long-standing premium membership does not play a role.

The awarding of the red tick is then done after a team-internal, democratic vote once a month.

Do the VIPs officially represent JOYclub? What is the difference between JOY team and VIPs?

VIPs remain private members* even after receiving the red checkmark and do not take on any official function in JOYclub. Expressed views reflect accordingly the private opinion of the VIP and not that of JOYclub.

VIPs are recognizable by the red checkmark and the addition "VIP" in the badge of the checked member.

The JOY-Team can be recognized by the JOY-Team lettering next to the profile picture as well as the JOY-Team badge.

If a JOY-Team member communicates an official note in his function as an employee* of the JOYclub, it will contain a corresponding signature:

The JOY-Team also likes to communicate privately in the community and does not use a signature.
