With our livestreams, JOYclub members can interact in real time via webcam and chat.
As a streamer, you can show yourself to the community and your fans and interact with your viewers in the chat. You determine the topic and also whether and how much skin is shown.
How do I start a livestream?
Spontaneous livestreams can be started and viewed by premium members. Planned event streams can also be started by basic members.
If you want to start a stream, go to our overview page of the currently running livestreams. You will find the red button Start Livestream in the upper right area .
A preview window will open and our wizard will guide you through all settings. First you can give your stream a title and a description. In the next step you decide if you want to stream anonymously. You can also specify whether you want to go livealone or with a partner.
In the last step you see a preview of your camera image and go live with a final click on the red button . From this moment on, viewers can enter your livestream.
You can change the title and description of your stream at any time. Both should be meaningful, so that you address the right audience. Your description is a first clue for your viewers: Do you want to keep it serious, or are raunchy comments okay? Tell your guests what you want them to say and let them know what to expect - and what not to expect - in the stream. |
If you haven't had any previous touch points with the JOYclub livestream, the following tutorial video is the perfect way to get started:
How does the livestream work?
Once you are live, you will see your own livestream image in front of you in the center. In the upper left corner you will find the JOYclub watermark as well as the X symbol, which you can use to end your stream.
On the right side you will find the buttons to mute your microphone and to switch cameras if you have several different cameras connected and want to use them.
On the right you will also find your chat. Above you can see the current number of viewers and the hearts that have already been given to you .
With a click on the number of viewers you will get to your list of participants. Here you will find an alphabetical list of all members who are currently watching your stream. In addition, you can see your top three viewers who have given you the most hearts at the moment, your moderators as well as your friendly accounts who are currently in the stream.
If you have already unlocked the TeamStream, you will also see the hand icon above the chat. The number tells you how many members have made a request for a shared TeamStream. Clicking here will take you to the list of current TeamStream requests and you can invite members to join you.
After finishing your stream, you will also receive a detailed evaluation. In this overview you will find all information and numbers about your stream.
