How can I cancel an event or set it to 'sold out'?
Simply go to the 'Events' section in your profile management, open the three-dot menu on the right side for the corresponding event, and select the desired option: 'Event sold out' or 'Cancel event'.
Can I enter multiple events on the same day?
You can enter up to 2 events on the same day, as long as the start time is not identical.
What does the note function mean?
A member can remember interesting events without obligation. If you have only noted an event, but have not yet registered, the following message will appear: "You have noted this event without obligation, but have not yet registered. Please remember to register in time if you want to attend the event."
A member who has an event on their watch list will automatically receive a reminder email 10 days before the event, reminding them that they may still need to register to attend the event.
How can I quickly enter a recurring event?
Information for recurring events can be automatically copied from events that have already been entered by selecting the existing entry and simply saving it as a copy with a new date. This allows you to quickly enter the weekly regulars' table for the next few months, for example.
Where and for whom is my event visible in JOYclub?
Depending on the intention, different types of events can be created with different settings in JOYclub, which in turn affects the visibility and registration options.
Public event
A public event appears visible to all members in the public event calendar and is basically open to all for registration. An automatically generated thread accompanies the event in the event forum. Registrations are displayed in members' profiles (unless they have registered anonymously or suppressed the display).
Public event in the group
A public event hosted by a group will also appear in the event calendar. All members can register. An automatic thread in the group accompanies the event. Registrations are displayed in members' profiles (unless they have registered anonymously or suppressed the display). Group mods can be enabled to edit the event as well.
Events without category
Profile events do not appear in the event calendar, but only in the profile of the organizer. Thus, registration can only be done via the profile itself. There is no automatic thread, but registrations can be displayed in the profile of the participants (if not disabled).
internal group event, public
Public internal group events do not appear in the event calendar, but are accompanied by an internal group thread. Registration is also possible for non-group members, and the event is also displayed in the participants' profile.
internal group event, private
Private group events are exclusively for the members of a group. People from outside the group cannot register. An automatically generated thread in the group accompanies the event. The registration is not displayed in the profile of the participants.
Why was my event rejected?
Your event may have been rejected for various reasons. Possible reasons are violations of our community guide or a lack of relevance to the topics of JOYclub.
