ClubMails are private messages between members to exchange private information. In this context, abbreviations such as DM, direct message, are also used. All terms refer to the ClubMail function.
Under "ClubMail" you can find your personal mailbox, start new conversations or create a group and manage your contacts. Your ClubMails are private and are only displayed to you and the respective recipient, no one else has access to them.
ClubMail mailbox
In the ClubMail mailbox all incoming and outgoing messages are displayed. Besides avatar picture, username and added ClubMail special, you can directly read the first message lines. You also have several options to filter your messages.
By default, your messages are sorted by first unread and then read. Alternatively, you can sort your messages chronologically by unchecking "Unread first". If you receive an Express ClubMail, it will appear first.
ClubMail conversation
All ClubMails that you exchange with one or more other members are displayed in a conversation in chronological order. Each message is displayed in its own block. This way you can always keep an eye on the thread of a conversation - similar to a messenger.
The red badge with the number shows you how many unread messages there are. Within a conversation, you also receive notifications if, for example, your conversation partner has shared an album with you or someone has been added to or left a ClubMail group.
Within the conversations, the status of your sent messages is also displayed. This display, in the form of hooks, can be found in the lower right corner of the message. They have the following meanings:
- 1 white tick -> message sent, but not yet arrived.
- 2 white ticks -> message arrived, but unread.
- 2 green ticks -> message has been read by the recipient.
