Below you will find an overview of the most common error codes that may be displayed, as well as possible causes and solutions.
In most cases it is not necessary to contact support, as these are either temporary errors, local errors in the user's internet connection or JOYclub server problems.
If these errors are displayed over a longer period of time and thus prevent a login completely and cannot be solved on your own, please contact the support.
Error 400
The server cannot process the request due to a client-side error.
> Check the correct spelling of the URL entered and try to clear the browser's cache.
Error 403
This error occurs when there is a permission problem.
It can occur when trying to access content you do not have permission to view, or this permission has been revoked or restricted by us.
Most often, this error occurs when our protection mechanism against malicious access has been triggered.
This may be due to the following reasons:
- repeatedly entering the wrong password
- too many open JOYclub tabs
- too many devices in the same network accessing JOYclub
- using another software than usual
- extensions of your device use the system excessively or the data stream is manipulated (e.g. encryption networks, TOR browser)
- virus attack or the device is misused for server attacks
In such a case, the system blocks the IP address. However, this is only temporary and will be lifted automatically after a few hours.
> A quick solution can be to restart the internet connection (router, mobile data connection), but this only applies to internet providers who do not assign a fixed IP address.
Error 404
This message occurs when you try to access content that does not exist.
This can be content that has been removed by us or other members, or it can indicate a typo in the URL you entered.
> Please check the correct spelling of the URL.
Error 408
This error inidcates a timeout in the request.
This means that no response could be received or sent within the response deadlines.
Check the status of your internet connection or try again later.
> Please check your internet connection and its load.
Error 500
This code is displayed when our JOYclub server is down. This can happen in connection to updates or maintenance work, server-side problems can also be a trigger for this error message.
> This issue cannot be resolved by users, so we are going to take care of it. In these cases we are aware of the problems and are working hard to fix them to ensure regular use of the platform.
Error 502
This code (Bad Gateway) is displayed when the server has not received a valid response from another server.
Please check the correct spelling of the URL here or check if the content still exists.
> Try restarting the browser or clearing the cache. If the message still appears, please start the browser in safe mode. If the code is not displayed then, the error is probably caused by a browser extension.
Error 503
The code 503 says, similar to the error code 500, that the server is not reachable.
Again, we would already be aware of the problem and working hard to fix it to ensure regular use of the platform.

Please check your own internet connection for stability and correct operation first.
