Creating an Attractive Profile
A meaningful and authentic profile helps other members get to know you and decide whether you might be a good match. A well-maintained profile is the foundation for successful contacts.
Show Who You Really Are
Give visitors an authentic impression of yourself. Instead of using generic phrases like "I enjoy going to the cinema," tell people what makes you unique.
Try to describe yourself in a positive and engaging way. Focus on your interests, personality, and what you're looking for, rather than listing things you dislike.
Honesty is essential. Avoid exaggerations or unrealistic descriptions. If your profile appears too perfect or implausible, other members may question its authenticity.
Choose High-Quality Photos
Your profile photos create the first impression and play an important role in attracting potential contacts.
Choose clear, high-quality images that represent you well. Quality is far more important than quantity. Professional photos or pictures taken by experienced photographers within the community can significantly enhance your profile.
Keep in mind that less is often more. Although JOYclub is an erotic community, many members appreciate a certain level of mystery. Elegant and tasteful photos often leave a stronger impression than highly explicit or fully nude pictures.
Writing Messages That Get Replies
Before sending a message, take the time to read the other member's profile carefully. They have invested time in creating it, and reading it shows appreciation and genuine interest.
You may also discover information that tells you the two of you are not compatible, saving both of you unnecessary conversations.
Personalize Your Message
Personalized messages are much more likely to receive a response than generic introductions.
Address the member by their username and refer to details from their profile. Ask questions and show genuine interest. Some members even include small "codes" or keywords in their profile to confirm that visitors have actually read it.
Avoid copying and pasting the same message to multiple members. Personalized messages demonstrate genuine interest and significantly improve your chances of receiving a reply.
If your profile does not include a recognizable face photo, consider attaching one to your first message. Many members prefer to see who they are talking to before starting a conversation.
Respect Boundaries
Never send unsolicited nude or explicit images. Sending explicit content without consent may violate applicable laws, including Section 184 of the German Criminal Code, and can also be reported through our platform.
Even if you are already having a pleasant conversation, sending unsolicited explicit images can quickly end any further contact.
Be Patient
Give the other member enough time to reply.
Many female members receive dozens or even hundreds of messages every day, making it impossible to answer everyone immediately - or at all.
If you haven't received a reply after several days, a polite follow-up message is acceptable. Repeatedly sending messages or asking "Why aren't you replying?" is unlikely to improve your chances and may discourage further communication.
For Female Members and Mutual Respect
If you are currently not interested in receiving new messages, you can activate the "Currently not looking" option. This helps reduce the number of incoming ClubMails and allows you to focus on conversations that matter to you.
If you are looking to meet new people, don't hesitate to make the first move. Many members appreciate receiving a friendly first message, regardless of gender.
If you are not interested in chatting with someone, you can easily end unsolicited conversations. To do so, please click on the button 'End conversation' at the start of the ClubMail conversation. The conversation will then automatically be ended for 30 days.
Information on how to end unwanted or intrusive conversations can be found here.
Appreciate Genuine Effort
If someone has clearly taken the time to read your profile and write a thoughtful, personalized message, consider responding- even if your answer is simply a polite "No thanks."
A brief and respectful reply acknowledges the effort the other member invested and contributes to a friendly and respectful community atmosphere.
