The chat in JOYCE enables a quick and direct exchange with other members. Here you can meet members who are close to you, share the same interests, or with whom you are jointly visiting an event.
The chat is a space where members treat each other with respect and as equals. Please note, therefore, that our Community Guide applies there just as it does in all other areas.
Accessing the Chat
You can find the chat under the menu item "Discover > Live". Currently, the function is available for a few major cities in Germany. If you are within the corresponding radius, you will be given the opportunity to join the chat here. Furthermore, one of the following two points must be fulfilled:
- successfully verified profile
- or a Plus or Premium membership
Functions and Information in the Chat Room
As soon as you enter a chat room, the following functions and information are available to you:
- Chat Room Information and Participant Status: Get an overview of all members currently in the chat room.
- Moderation: For a pleasant coexistence, every member acting as a moderator is marked with a special label. Moderators monitor the content of the chat and have additional rights for organizing the chat room.
- Sending Content: You can send classic chat messages as well as photos. Additionally, you have the option to reply to the content of other members with reactions.
- Report Message: Should you encounter inappropriate content, you can forward it to the JOYCE team at any time via the reporting function.
